<p>I'm reading from a few Yale students that they were not being offered financial aid. </p>
<p>Is it difficult to get financial aid from Yale? If my family could not afford the tuition, are my options likely to end up being either getting a loan or turning down the offer of admission?</p>

<p>if you input the numbers correctly, it is pretty accurate. the EFC is your expected family contribution -- the amount your family is expected to pay. If your EFC is more than the cost of attendance at Yale, then you will not receive any aid.</p>
