Have any of you gotten your package yet?

No package yet...and it's not available online either. Don't know why they can't make it available online!

Ditto. According to their letter, it was supposed to get mailed 3 days after the acceptance letter.

I finally called them and got the scoop. Zip. We're getting zip. No need based aid, no grants, no merit. Well, disappointing. Ain't noooo fricking way I'm paying full price for this school not with the other offers we have from other high quality schools WITH merit aid. Just isn't worth it. Ciao, Carnegie.

wait, so if I haven't gotten anything from them yet, it means that they're not giving me any money at all? that bites! especially since they told me I would probably qualify for merit aid. ANNOYING!! too bad, I really liked CMU.

That's right...all merit aid went out with the initial acceptance letters. At least that's what the CMU counselor told me.

I didn't even receive my online account thing... so I can't check anything.. I only found out that I got in from the fat letter, but has anyone gotten their financial aid package since the last post?

If its definite that im not receiving any financial aid, its gonna suck for me :[

We rec'vd the financial aid letter on Friday...it basically said...fuggitaboutit.

I know what you guys are talking about......I've been waiting and waiting for the FA letter. I was so happy when I got my FAT letter...and just hoped I might get something from them. I did from most other places. Every day for a MONTH my parents and I have been checking the mail box...nothing. Nothing. Nothing. We emailed about a week ago and said.....what?? (because we heard that you would get some response by April 15). Still........nothing. After doing all of their forms (at the encouragement of the Admission officer at the Portfolio Review session) and making copies, mailing, faxing....you'd think they could at least mail back a form that says "sorry no". I've been waiting for know to say "yes" elsewhere. We just can't afford the full $50,000 a year.
