Without financial aid, the cheapest community college I know is Trinity Valley Community College which charges about $6,800 for tuition (out-of-state), room and board. Western Wyoming Community College is the only community college I know that offers financial aid to internationals; it's highest valued scholarship covers in-state tuition, room, board and textbooks, leaving you with about $2.800 out-of-state tuition to pay.

Just out of curiosity: why do you limit your question to community colleges when regular colleges offer much more opportunity for scholarships and financial aid?

sure, if you have good marks and ec's you can definetely get some good awards from different colleges. you can apply for merit based scholarships as well as for financial aid (available to international students in some private universities).

Be aware that there are some schools that offer "need-based" scholarships to foreign students, and there are even a few that offer "full need" scholarships, and there is a huge difference. A school that promises "full need" basically guarantees that they will find a way for you to afford to attend, by providing whatever scholarships are necessary.

That being said, such schools tend to be quite challenging to get into.

I think we could better help you if we knew how competitive of an applicant you are. To get started, may I ask for your (anticipated) SAT score?
