Financial Aid

Current students. Do you think MIT gives decent Financial Aid packages. I have a friend who will enter her Freshmen year of college at 17 years old, and her parent's situation in tricky. In her sophmore year, she ranked 2nd place at the ISEF in Materials and Bioengineering, and is planning on returning for the rest of her high school career. MIT is her number one school, but she is worried about paying for the first year, because Finances are weird (though not nonexistant). She is half middle-eastern (dunno if that qualifies as a URM) and is top in her class. Also anticipating AMAZING SAT scores. Do think MIT will pay for her?
