I was admitted to Emory in January, and I filed financial aid materials in February. On OPUS, there's a place to check financial aid (Finances/View My Financial Aid); however, mine says "Inquiry access denied." Can anyone else view theirs, or is Emory waiting until a specific date to show the award?

does emory give any non-need based aid?

I think that the school has set out a specific date to show any awards. Yes, Emory does give out non-need based aid. Their Emory Scholars Program is an example.

yeah, about 50 billion people applied to Emory from my school. They only allow four people to apply from each school. Unfortunately, four already had before I'd learned of it. Do they offer any other merit-based aid?

Yes, Emory does offer merit-based aid, such as thier Emory Scholars Program.

He just said OTHER than the emory scholars program, why did you post that twice?

To the best of my knowledge, all merit scholarships at Emory are offered through the Emory Scholars program. However, some of them have different application/selection processes, such as the Barkley Debate and the MLK Scholarships.

"He just said OTHER than the emory scholars program, why did you post that twice?"

I guess that I didn't see the word "other" in his post. That's why I posted twice. Sorry.

Besides the scholarships that newabc mentioned, Emory has a few other merit-based awards for their students.
