I applied ED2 for Vandy. I called the financial aid office to change something. They said that they don't have any of my records. I definitely send everything in. My main concern is that if the financial aid office don't have any information on me, does that mean that I was rejected...rejected that they didn't even bother with my financial things...omg..now I am so toast.

bumps anyone!!!!!!!

Did you do the Profile and send in a fafsa?

yup..i send in profile on dec.27 and the fafsa on jan11..corrected jan25

hmmmmmmmmmmm

I don't think it means you automatically got rejected. I heard somewhere that most colleges save your application info and all files for at least 3 years in case you decide to reapply next year or at a later time. If you do so, you have to check mark that you've applied for a previous term and then I think they double check, and the only way they'd be able to do that is if they had your files from the last time you applied.

I definitely do not think you should read anything into it. Vandy gets massive amounts of paperwork. Something may have been messed up (maybe your name or social security number was entered wrong in the system). I would call financial aid & see if you can figure out what is going on. You can contact admissions, if you don't feel comfortable with the response you get. It doesn't do any good to guess.
