Hey guys. I just wanted to know if anyone has gotten their financial aid package of scholarship information from LSU?

well I havent been notified, I call and they told me it was until April :S

They sent me an e-mail to my paws account with additional forms to fill out. So I'm assuming mine is close to done.

I got my scholarship info in late December, though it's still possible that I'll still get something else.

Notthatgood- What Scholarships did you recieve because I am eiligible for the National Scholars award. I had to send them proof that I am in NSHSS and it took me a while to do that so I think I won't get it now.

I applied early, before the November 15th priority deadline and I got a LSU Alumni Association (Top 100) Scholarship...

I wouldn't worry if I were you because there are not a limited amount of National Scholars awards available. I think whoever meets the qualifications automatically gets it.

I don't think department scholarships have been sent out yet, no idea about National Scholars.

I met someone in the scholarship office on my visit last month who I can refer you to. I'm sure she will be more helpful than the robotic responses you usually get.

I applied in September. I hope I do get it but I would like to get more information from the scholarship office. Thanks.

I just recieved a letter that says a limited number of awards are availible to Louisiana residents and they will choose the recipients in March and notify in April.

Alright, best of luck.

FWIW, the cost-of-living in the Baton Rouge area is reasonable and part-time jobs (off-campus, at least) are not hard to find.

Does anyone know more info about the Golden Oaks Scholarship for international students ? Are there unlimited scholarships, as long as one meets the criteria ? How come you guys were notified in December ?

I was recently accepted to the Honors College (at least 3.5 GPA and I had a 1330 SAT)
