<p>1) Has any admitted students received their financial aid yet?!</p>

<p>2) Which dorm should I pick in the Rose Hill campus?</p>

<p>I think we will recieve them around April 1st, from what i heard</p>

<p>My D received a preliminary FA package in Feb and I just called the FA office with a couple questions. According to them…

  1. Final financial aid packages should be RECEIVED by April 1st.
  2. There typically is not much difference between the preliminary and the final package. Bad news for us.</p>

i wont really care as long as the final package isn’t smaller</p>

<p>MRoCkED…That’s funny because I asked that very question and she said it definitely would not be smaller but was not likely to be any bigger. She said (and I am only assuming she knows) that the prelim. packages are usually spot on to the final ones.</p>

<p>Sherry~ I should qualify that my D was an EA admit from December.</p>

<p>I got my FA. It was horrible. Lehigh gave me 20k in grants. Fordham gave me 10k with an 8k scholarship.</p>

<p>I got my financial aid. I live near Fordham (Queens, NY), so that is probably why. My finaid package was $24,440.</p>

<p>i got 39k..probably turning it down. willing to trade it for a conrell offer :D!</p>

<p>Got the acceptance packet today. Son got the Dean’s Scholarship for $10,000 but not enough for us to send him. He got better merit scholarships at other schools. 7 out of 7 acceptances----narrowed it down to 2 schools. Fordham and another school. The other school gave him a better merit scholarship so I guess that’s where he’ll be going.</p>

<p>I received the official acceptance today and it did not mention fin. aid of any sort - is this a bad sign then?</p>

<p>^You should check if the Financial Aid office got everything. If they did, then they’re probably unsure how much to give you. Not necessarily a bad sign.</p>

<p>My financial aid package was included with my acceptance. I also received my letter before the e-mail was sent… I think it’s because my parents messed up our tax return, so we had to send loads of documents to Fordham in the past month. Either way, I wasn’t given enough to even consider attending. Oh well…</p>

When I visited the school, some students said that you could rank your top three choices of the dorms and you’re most likely guarnteed a spot. </p>

<p>as for the financial aid, I still haven’t received anything! I was an early action admit back in december, and I have not received anything! AH!</p>

<p>hey you should call and find out i think if you dont get it by April 10, because i was a EA myself and I got an estimate back in february so Im just waiting for the final one to make up my mind.</p>

<p>Does Fordham University give International Students Financial Aid? I receive the package today but they told nothing about the money !!!</p>
