<p>I just got my acceptance letter/finaid thing today. Full-tuition Semifinalists scholarship. I wasn't expecting this at all (i got it for being a National Hispanic Scholar). Don't know if I'll be going, but it would be a really tough offer to turn down...</p>

<p>Guess again-- I think you might have to turn in your deposit fee for attending, and at that time you can request the dorms....but then I again, that's what I heard, I'm not quite there yet!</p>

I have a friend who called the Fin. Aid office @ NYU and asked for more aid and they just gave her an extra 1OK. Is this possible at Fordham?</p>
<p>Fordham is among the worst for FA. I was warned about this by friends when my D applied last year. With an EFC of $5K, she received the $3,500 Stafford Loan and a $12K merit scholarship. I guess they figured the merit offset the lack of need-based aid. They were so wrong! Needless to say, she didn't attend.</p>
