financial aid?

did anyone get any aid? do they come with the packet or do they send them separately, because in the entire acceptance packet that i got there was not one sentence about financial aid or anything so idk

i'm hoping they send the stuff later and i actually got some because vanderbilt is *ing expensive as *

i applied for aid and didn't get anything in my packet either. =/

but people in the other thread said that they got it, so i dont know

^same here. i applied back in January for finaid, so i know i met the deadline.

i'm gonna assume I met the deadlines, being that they didn't send me anything saying otherwise

but they included something about financial aid in my packet, which was confusing to me. it just talked about the different kinds of aid they give.

anyone who got their aid already, did they send the financial aid packets separately!?!? since I live in NJ, that may be why I haven't gotten it yet

I got fin aid in my packet... I would call the fin aid office at Vandy and ask if you r supposed to get something...
My fin aid statement came and it was inside the fin aid brochure (in between the first two pages and it was sticking out...)

i guess I will have to call them... i should definitely be getting aid, since i even got aid from villanova

nevermind, they included something about finances [ie: how much it costs], not financial AID....

this is frustrating, cuz if i got no aid from them i won't be able to go =[

do they give any merit based aid or anything cause i dont think i'm going to get any need based but i might but im talking about both need and non need aid

i am on the cusp of being able to afford it probably, where i just fall outside of need but still could use some merit based aid

i'm gonna call them tomorrow to find out. i have a bad feeling though....

I got 18k in grants and my efc is 34k, so yeah...people -should- get some aid!

I got like 18 k in grants too, which is pretttty sweet.

ok i called and e-mailed...

when i called, the lady said that I had just submitted one of my forms late and I should be hearing in 1-2 weeks.

however, someone e-mailed me back saying that it will be in the mail by tomorrow.

so, if you didn't get your aid package in your acceptance packet, then just call the financial aid office and see whats up.

anyone know anything about $5,000 guaranteed National Merit Scholarship for four years at Vanderbilt?
