For all you prefreshmen: You should be aware that cornell financial aid really sucks. I'm an upperclassman, and I still dont have my package. Im not the only one though. About 2,000 students still dont have it. Also, if you need to talk with anyone in that department they'll make it impossible for you to get what you want. cornell is going down fast.

true true alttidude...i blame either the new peoplesoft system or the new financial aid initiative...

the student assembly must demand answers, and demand them NOW! D:

It's PeopleSoft

Is that true? because i was under the impression that cornell was pretty good with financial aid, and most students who need it get it.

I never had an issue with financial aid when I was at Cornell...the office was very generous given my situation and I never had trouble reaching them or working out a fair solution to my problems.

Peoplesoft is the worst system and also very expensive. It is a surprise that Cornell picked Peoplesoft. My daughter couldn't get in to drop/add courses beginning of this year, last year she didn't have any problem. We have Peoplesoft at work, and it's awful.

I had good aid my first year, but i have yet to recieve my package...which is really kind of terrifying.
