Financial Aid

I just realized that I checked "no" in response to the question on Yale's app about applying for financial aid. Does this mean that if I am accepted, I won't get any of the (average) 30k or so they give to people? How should I go about correcting this?

no, just do the normal processes of financial aid application and everything should be fine. inform the colleges if you're worried.

So, the normal way to do things is to just send in the CSS and my parents' tax returns electronically through College Board, right? Yale is the only college I'm apply for financial aid at, so I really don't know anything about the process.

NL,
Y has an excellent FA website, here is what you need to do if you are a US citizen:

Yale University Financial Aid > Prospective & Transfer Students > Early Action Application Guidelines for U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, and Canadian Residents

If it were me, I'd call or email to change your FA status, better safe than sorry.

Okay, thanks for the advice.
