You see it on Axess when it’s ready. If it comes separate from the main admissions mailing, then there may be an indication of when to expect it.

~Full Ride, Int’l. Waiting for courier.

Do you think we’ll get admit packets today?

i thought they came out today… i’ve gotten emails from other colleges about aid awards…

I would think they’d come with the admit packets (snail mail), but I haven’t gotten mine yet (didn’t come today). Has anyone gotten theirs?

No I haven’t got mine either and I’m not seeing anything on axess :(

I got mine, I’m in CA though, that’s probably why. They said they would send the FA separately in about a week. Also, they said you could check it on Axess when it’s ready but it’s not working for me right now.

Last year, S’s FA showed up on Access within a couple of days of email admissions. Paper FA came with paper acceptance packet about a week after email. Even though he was admitted SCEA, he got another admission packet with final FA info at the same time as as RDers.

Congratulations to all who have been admitted!

It’s on Axess…

my FA package, while good, was still markedly lower than the package i received from Yale. Is it true that stanford “matches” any aid offer from a comparable institution? Thanks.

Stanford’s policy:

[FAQ : Stanford University](http://www.stanford.edu/dept/finaid/site/faq/index.html#faq_4)

My Axess didn’t work last night, but it works fine now.
I must say… I am a bit sad about my financial aid package…
With Stanford, I will have to pay $5,000, but I’d rather graduate debt-free at Caltech.
I know that Stanford will match another college, but Caltech’s total cost is about 3,000 less than Stanford’s…
So even if I get them to increase my package, I will still have to pay.
This was the last factor in deciding between Caltech and Stanford, so unless I somehow get everything payed for at Stanford, I’ll be going to Caltech. :/

when i sign in to axess, it takes me to the “employee-facing registry content” site and i can’t find anything about financial aid…
am i in the right place? or is it just that my axess does not work yet?

just got mine! thanks guys!!

sad that you have to pay $5,000 at a school that costs $50k?!
