I'm thinking about applying to Emory mainly for the Goizueta Business School, but wasn't nominated for the Emory Scholars program. My school is relatively large in size (700 per grade), and usually do not nominate students unless the students ask themselves. I didn't realize Emory offered this program until two days ago, and by then, it was impossible to complete the application. I'm definitely relying on financial aid for most schools (I have a twin and we're both looking at top-tier schools that are very expensive). How is the financial aid for Emory for students who are not Emory Scholars? I know that financial aid ultimately will make my decision for me based on which college I'm attending. Thanks!

Emory University has wonderful financial aid, and I say this first hand. My family is definitely middle class and they met our needs 100%. This might not be the case for absolutely everyone, but if you absolutely cannot afford to come here with aid, they will help you. If your family makes <$50,000, you will recieve grants covering your entire cost of tuition + housing. If your family makes <$100,000, your aid will still be substantial. I was exteremly worried about this, but I know that Emory finds a way to ensure that the kids they really want here get here.

here is last year’s thread about Financial Aid
