Financial Aid

Where can I access my financial aid award summary?

Also, does Bing give scholarships to freshmen?

Binghamton, typically, does not give merit scholarships to freshmen.

online April 1

You can access your financial aid award offer via [BU Brain](http://bubrain.binghamton.edu) beginning on April 1. Binghamton will not send a paper notification of aid. They typically do not award merit-based scholarships to freshman.

Anyone know when it goes up? :stuck_out_tongue: I’m quite anxious.

I can say with absolute certainty that the Financial Aid Services office is not open at 12:30AM. ;)

I’m assuming during business hours, April 1 (today).

Damn and I stayed up for this haha :stuck_out_tongue: Anyway, hope its up before I leave to visit Baruch for macaulay tomorrow. Its a pretty big determining factor.

well…its April 1st and i went on the BIU thing and they dont have the 2010-2011 academic year listed…so i guess i just have to wait for the letter to come in the mail.

Slackers :frowning: lol

Nothing yet.

am i the only 1 who haven’t got a decision >.<

Are the financial aid offers beginning April 1st and lasting a few days? I got on today and it’s saying: “status of your academic progress is Not Yet Evaluated as of Fall 2010”.

^ i hope so…because so far there is nothing on the site…but April 1st is the deadline for Binghamton to notify us about our financial aid. I would like to think that they are just taking a while to upload it to the site…or maybe when i get home it will be in the mail  and its April Fools Day. NOT cool.

i called and they said it should be out at 2

i checked its up there now :)

Wow, I got screwed over on FA. I have to pay the same tuition as it would cost for me to attend BU, a private school… (And my efc is 0…)

Can someone else post their FA package so I may compare?

Academic Competitive Grant $750.00
Federal SEOG $500.00
Federal Direct Subsidized Loan $3,500.00
Fedearl Direct Unsub Loan $2,000.00
Federal Work Study $1,260.00
Federal Pell Grant $5,550.00
Federal Perkins Loan $1,500.00
NYS TAP Grant $4,995.00
