Has anyone received their finanial aid packages from Wake Forest yet?

My daughter got her FA letter today. A scholarship, couple loans, work study - but still not very affordable, doesn’t cover need for us. Wake Forest is looking pretty unlikely for her now. The award letter didn’t list the cost of attendance, by the way - she had to go to website to find that.

Ditto here…I really appreciate the fact that these school give out scholarships…but they do not get close enough to make sense. Wake is offering me a little less than $10K in scholarship, plus $2K in fed work study. Leaves about $42K/yr. I’m getting $25K from parents (fafsa slightly higher) leaves $17K. With a decent summer job, I’m probably looking at something like $48K in loans before grad school…that is a little hard to swallow.

I will probably turn them down next week to open up my aid for others.

I got my letter today, about $4K per semester in a scholoarship (I’m assuming that what it is), $1K per sem in work study, and $3K in some kind loan. If I want to go there, I’ll need to take out more loans :/

I’m confused because their website pledges to meet 100% of demonstrated need, should they not meet your COA minus EFC?

now im worried…

btw when were your FA letters dated???

i just got a letter saying i didnt qualify for need based aid… does this mean that i didnt receive a merit scholarship

March 31 was the date

yay i got mine today!!! think im definitely going.

and 0000001 - probably not

I got mine a few days ago. The letter said that we did
not qualify for financial aid, and their was no merit scholarship
either. Lehigh offered me a merit scholarship, so I don’t know
where I will go now…I am going to the thing on the 16th.
