has anyone received theirs yet? I'm wondering when Rutgers is sending theirs out since all my other schools have already sent theirs out.

I thought that most already came out…you might want to check the website

hmm apparently i’m not in the database…but thanks though!

cometstarg, tried it, same result :T

how generous is Rutgers with the financial aid? my parents see money as the biggest factor seeing as they make about $14,000/year which is very little :\ So, i just wanted some examples. Thanks!

CraigCho: the link works i just tried it now. it takes you to page for incoming freshmen just put in your rutgers id and date of birth.

rawr193: do your parents really make that little? if so, your EFC would be 0. ideally, they should give you enough aid to cover costs, but who knows. i think you’ll be fine, they gave me enough to cover half my costs and my parents definitely make more than yours. submitting the FAFSA by the deadline would have helped you if you havent already.

well, i’m a junior in high school so i have til next year but yea, they do :\ oh well, times are toughh. hopefully the college will be super duper nice hahah

rawr: I live with my mom and her income is a little bit less than that of your parents.

My EFC was 0, however, Rutgers only gave me 10,000 in grants and work study. I’m an out of state student so it will cost me about $33,000 to attend Rutgers.

so yeah, they covered less than 1/3 of the cost. :

yeano same here, i’m out of state, and the only way i can go to this school is if the school covers most of the costs. do you think it’ll help that im a minority? i mean, in some schools they actually take that into consideration, or so i hear.
