<p>Williams is need-blind for internationals, which means that applying for aid has no bearing on admission. Of course there are skeptics who will tell you that this is a tactic to artificially raise the selectivity of the school, but I and many others have been accepted although we need finaid.</p>
<p>okay here is how it works. International students WILL face harder criterias due to limited spaces. However, Williams won't look at your financial record as an admission factor. This is good if you are a strong candidate who needs much financial aid. In other schools, since they do take student's financial record as a factor, less qualified students who can pay full freight will beat other more qualified students who need more aid.</p>
