Financial Aide at CUA?

Hello, I was accepted into CUA Early Action and was given 17k in Merit Aide. However, I am waiting on the Need-based Financial aide still because my FAFSFA was filed for verification so I have to submit extra paper work and the response takes longer.

I am a politics major and I REALLY want to go to CUA because my family is hardcore Catholic and I am IN LOVE with DC. However, I have an EFC of 0001 and I am not sure how much need-based grants/work study I am going to be offered. If anyone can please share their financial aide experience with CUA I would really appreciate it! Thank you in advance!

Oh and BTW, I am a Hispanic Female from Florida… And I’m not sure if that may or may not be an incentive to receive more aide since I have heard that most of the students that end up going to Catholic are from the NE of the United States.
