When I go to the financial aid page it says:
"You Provisional Award Letter (PAL) is not available at this time.
Please note that it takes 3 – 4 business days for the FAFSA and 1 – 2 weeks for your Dream Act Application to be sent to us by the processor. If you completed your application in excess of these time frames, please take a look below for some of the most common reasons why a Provisional Award Letter may not have been generated:"
Is it like this for everyone? Or did I do something incorrectly on the FAFSA?
Please review the ‘common reasons’ why a Provisional Award Letter is not available. Many students do not provide their SSN on their UC Admission Application and this is required to match FAFSA information for the student. Another reason is that a student may forget to list UCLA (school code 001315) on the FAFSA and the school never receives the information.
If you still have issues, please contact Financial Aid and Scholarships after 10 am on Monday. Congratulations on your admission!
@mazdarx7 I looked through the reasons already and none of them applied to me, so I was wondering if it’s just not up yet since they just released admissions
@theblanksign i got mine as soon as the admissions were released… did you turn everything in on time?
But I got the email today to check for my financial award if you wanted to know
Mine still aren’t out. I’m starting to get concerned now, since I need the aid as an OOS applicant…
@yellowmamba45 Everything on time and done correctly. My other UC’s released my PAL on their website.
@StressyMessi Hopefully it’s just being done randomly
@theblanksign if they don’t then give them a quick call… that’s what I’m going to do with San Diego since I didn’t get any aid at all from them
