<p>im an international student and im looking to get into a state college....is it that i need to show cash worth all of my fees otherwise i wont get admission.....NY has such a law......how abt other states like texas and NJ.</p>

<p>I think it might be a federal law, depending on your visa status. I know my institution, in VA. has several internationals and we have to document cash worth for each one. We also have to spell out exactly what their education will cost, to the penny and submit information on how the student will pay.</p>
