Hi!!! So this has been a real problem for me. Suppose a university costs around $40,000, do we have to show that my parent's bank account has that much amount? My father has currently only $10,000 in his bank account but his annual salary is about $50,000. If we show the current amount he has in the bank account will it effect my chances? I am an international student btw.

Thanks in Advance!!!

How will you afford a college costing $40,000 if your father makes $50,000?

Where will the money come from to pay for college?

My father will pay around $35,000 and the rest he will apply for student loan.

If your dad can live on $15k out of the $50k he earns, then WHY would he only have $10k in the bank??? That makes no sense.

But, yes, to answer your question, your family has to show that they have all costs covered in order for you to get your visa.

If you get a scholarship or if anyone else agrees to help pay for your education, you will include that in the financial statement when you apply for your visa.
