Financial Help Forms for INTERNATIONAL Students

<p>ok, I am in desparate need for help... I've looked throughout different sites for forms and stuff and it's left me VERY very confused! </p>

<p>I am an international student, say I apply for 8 schools in the US. I fill in the applications (inc. essays, recs) RD and send it off to them. What am I supposed to do as far as financial aid goes other than declare on the applications that I need financial aid?</p>

<p>What are the forms that I am supposed to fill? Where do I get them? Who are they supposed to be approved by? When do I send them off? Do they need to be school specific?</p>

<p>I would appreciate it tremendously (as I imagine others would) if soemone could give a simple and clear outline of what excatly it is I need to do.</p>

Dont they each have their own requirements?
The schools are really the ones to ask- all I know about international student aid is that it is very limited</p>

<p>Every school has separate forms for international students. Follow the links for them. You need to have bank statements etc that you send in with your application. Also check carefully how much the schools say they may pay for international students. It varies considerably.</p>
