Financial help

I am trying to transfer to UVa for the spring my financial aid is really, really messed up. Long story made short, I sent in an application and it got lost in the mail. I didnt know this until I got my addmission decision without finaid. So I faxed my info, and something was arye, so tomorrow morning I will have to refax it. Basically, they say that I wont get a decision until January. If I could pay the deposit it wouldny matter, but if I dont decide now, I wont have housing, or good classes, or anything.
So here is the question...
My family's contribution is about 17,000 and I am out of state. Does anyone know how much of my financial need will be covered by grants and how much will be covered by loan. Since they are a public school, I dont know how much financial need they cover for out of state kids.

If any oos person has a financial package, I would love to know what percentage is covered by grants.. etc.

People say that money wont fix my problems, but it would sure help a lot.

Thanks

I don't know much about the UVa fin aid process other than they are sometimes disorganized. Have you read up on access uva? http://www.virginia.edu/accessuva/ It might provide some answers, I don't really know. good luck
