I’ve seen some messages about people having their final financial info already - AND a portal where they can see said info.
When did you all receive the letter/email (and what was it) to inform you about it? My son has not received that info yet - I’m wondering if it is because of the possibility of other scholarships that he has applied to, but it might not be.
Just seeking a little info before I call the school!

@KatzHerder - my D received an email from VCU Office of Financial Aid on March 15 stating she would receive a letter in the mail telling her about her estimated award and how to accept her package. We received the referenced letter-in-the-mail yesterday (March 25).
We logged in to the portal to see the aid package online – the portal is the one requiring the VCU eID and password.

Thanks @OrangeFish - S had that email, but neglected to claim his eID. He has now claimed it and looked - but it is wrong, since he has another letter with additional info. Have to call them anyway. Sigh. Wish this process was done. I hate waiting.

@KatzHerder - I think estimated aid and actual aid (including merit and grants) are different. Good luck with the phone call!

Hi
Does the financial aid include the merit scholarship ?

@Mercsabr – in our case, no, it does not. We were told for D19’s major, merit scholarship decisions are still in the works.
