Financial Mathematics question

<p>I have a few areas of interest with where i want to take my career. One of them being a quant in finance but first want to make sure what the EXACTLY entails. the type of research etc... I have taken linear and calc 3 and will take some statistics and probability courses soon but am wondering what good financial mathematics books are out there to show me the type of work and the jist of what i would be doing on a daily basis. Obv. i can't know high level financial mathematics, but what would be a book that you would recommend to directly relate math to finance. </p>
