Financial Modeling

Hello,

Are there any good books or websites with low-cost/free resources which will teach me how to do financial modeling and valuation?

I have heard of courses like <a href="http://www.wallstreetprep.com%5B/url%5D">www.wallstreetprep.com</a> and <a href="http://www.wallst-training.com%5B/url%5D">www.wallst-training.com</a> but these are rather expensive.

Once my finals are over, I'm going to spend a week or so working through "Excel Modeling in Corp. Fin" by Craig Holden. Has anyone used this book before?

there are a lot of good books on valuation out there...go to your university bookstore (preferably the graduate bookstore) and pick up a copy. If you are at a target school, chances are this book is going to be top notch. As far as the modeling goes...there is only so much you can teach yourself. If you want a cost-free source to teach you how to model, get an internship.
