Financial SAFETY school for Vocal Performance?

@Scubachick that sounds like it might be better for me that SUNY Potsdamn /Crane as a financial safety.
The SUNY VP programs aren’t as good as they once were. I’m on a mission to find another few options.
I finished recording my Young ARts pieces yesterday & go back into the studio next week to do my pre screens.
It’s all happening now.
Thanks

I know a couple of winners of the University of Kentucky’s vocal scholarship. It is very competitive. Definitely something to consider, but by no means a safety.

Please don’t misunderstand me. A compition for a scholarship is not SAFE in anyone’s world.
I knew nothing about UKs VP program.
A teacher told me to look into it as they give loads of merit and FA. It’s not just about winning an opera comp. It was about finding a little known school ( IMHO) with a lot of opportunity AND a big comp too boot!
Please let me know if you know of any others

I’ve heard good things about Queens College Aaron Copland School of Music for voice – in particular performance opportunities (they have attracted some Juilliard transfers for that very reason in the past few years). A definite financial safety. If you haven’t considered it, it could be worth a look.
