Financial Stuff Again

First of all, I want to say that I'll be calling the Financial Office on Wednesday since tomorrow I work during the office work hours. But my parents and I want some answers and if anyone can provide some info, it would be greatly appreciated.

I just got a new letter from Financial services after the addition of some new Non-Uni Awards. Now the Federal Stafford Unsubsidized Loan also appears on my award letter. It seems like I have all of my need based eligibility covered with grants and scholarships. My EFC is about 6000 dollars. And then there is the Stafford Unsubsidized Loan for 3500. From the website I got the the idea that this is a loan for my parents to take advantage of..correct? So if they agree, then out of the 6000 dollars they will have a loan for 3500 and will have to worry about the other part themselves? I don't know. If anyone can clue us in on what's going on, please give it a try! Thanks!

Yes. If you need to contribute $6000, and you get a loan for $3500, you still need $2500 from somewhere else (whether it be outside scholarships, your parents pay it, aliens pay it, whatever)

Speaking of Aliens, everyone on this board needs to go see Transformers right now.

Optimus Prime will pay for your college. College was reverse engineered from Optimus Prime's pure win.
