I didn't apply for any finaid at NU, and yes, I know it was stupid. I'm international and since NU isn't needblind, I didn't want requiring finaid to hurt my chances. It's possible for us to pay the 45000, but financial aid would help greatly nonetheless. My question is: can I still apply for finaid my second or third year or is it completely hopeless?

Sorry I was thinking domestics...
Only those students who apply for and receive financial aid for their freshman year will be eligible to receive financial assistance in subsequent years. There is no financial aid available for international transfer applicants or international students applying under Early Decision. For more information regarding financial aid application procedures for prospective international students, please refer to the section on Financial Aid for International Students on the website for the Office of Undergraduate Admission.

Sorry, I should clarify. I have been accepted rd. I didn't apply for aid, but I'm wondering if I can do so my second year. From what you posted, I take it I'm not eligible? :(
