Find/Match me a college

Male
African American
Rising Senior
3.6 UW GPA
3.7 W
(hope to get this back up to 3.8 UW, 3.9 W during Senior Year)
Graduating Honors w/Distinction (Likely Valedictorian or Salutatorian, Top 5% of Graduating Class)
SAT: 660 Reading
490 Math (Yeah i know)
580 Writing
(I just took the SAT and ACT again so I'll update these scores in 2 weeks; more likely to get a 740 in Writing, 720 Reading; Math is not my strong suit so I'll be taking AP Calc next year to make up for it and hopefully decent math scores on the ACT)

over 1000+ Hours of Community Service (includes project that resulted in largest legal overhaul to the GA Juvenile court system in 40, approved & supported by Governor of GA, worked closely with Foster Care Youth in development & hands-on workshops, really something that means a lot to me)

4 years working with Non-profit-Organization in STRONG leadership positions (held 4-internships; 5 now with a different non-profit this summer and soon to be 6-7; i have 2-3 other internships lined up for my Senior Year; All of these have been unpaid by the way; all volunteerism based if that makes any difference)

Served as Editor-In-Chief for High School Yearbook (Junior-Senior year; co Editor Sophomore-Freshman Years),
Newspaper(all 4 years),
Literary Magazine (all 4 years),
Art Club (1 year as co-pres, 1 year as Pres, still involved as a member)

Don't play any sports but joining Track and/or Cross Country team next year

Excellent writing skills, I will dominate the Essays (I'm usually a modest person but this is the truth, don't judge me) and will have awesome Letters of Recommendation

Type of College I'm looking for:
Small/Mid-sized
Ubran/Suburban
Looking to go into Digital Media/ Computer Science/ Information Technology but I'm open beyond these majors
I just want to go to a GOOD school, doesn't have to be big name, with strong academics but also knows how to have fun

Suggestions? Thanks! :)

*Also, I'm super low-income, like-no money to pay for college at all! :(

If your writing skills are so strong, why isn’t your writing score higher?
Most students don’t see 160 point jumps on retaking the SATs, but maybe you’ll be an exception.

If your scores do go up by that much, then many more schools become realistic possibilities. Check out the Questbridge program. Most of the participating schools are rich, selective, private schools that are able to offer generous need-based aid. If you want excellent academics plus fun, consider UVa (the only public Questbridge participant), Notre Dame, and USC.

Especially if your next round of scores is disappointing, add at least one HBC (like Howard). Also consider some of the schools on the US News “Regional Universities” lists, like Villanova or Loyola University Maryland. These tend to be urban schools and are often Catholic. They have good academics but are less selective than the top schools US News calls “National Universities”. Aid in general won’t be as good as the top-tier schools but with your credentials you may get a much better than average offer.
