does anyone know if fedex comes only by trucks or in your mailbox with the rest of your mail? thanks!

if you got your package, post where you live plz

for all the people who didn't get any package in the system... don't be worried...

I called back after being told I was getting a package and they couldn't find it in the system.... I had to re-call and they still couldn't find it... then they found it....

the rep explained to me that the system doesn't always do a good job and it's sometimes quirky... also, if it helps you track it... i think it's fedex ground from New York (don't think it was fedex overnight)

good luck

I love the ingenuity of people on this forum... just wish I had thought of it first hahaha

haha i started to call, but then realized how embarrasing it would be to be rejected by fed ex. so i didn't. good story, huh?

Whether it's online, through a letter, or from a FedEx representative, it's still a rejection and there's nothing to be done about it.

I don't really think that the system is quirky...I mean it should be in there if it's in there. I called like 6 times haha and all of the various operators said there were no packages coming to my address. I think it's pretty set. But then again, miracles do happen....rarely.

omg, this is an ingenious way of finding out a few days earlier than the rest of the boat.

but is it ... legal?

Wow, of course it's legal...and if we are truly living in an alternate dimension and it's not, well hundreds of us have just broken the law, so you might as well too.

but is it ... legal?

Nope, not at all. The United States has placed an embargo on all Ivy League admissions decisions until 5pm today.

nooo, i didnt mean it in that sense. but ive always felt like theres an unspoken law that says college decisions should coem directly from the colleges themselves. of course no one is gonna be arrested, i know that. I was talking about legality as in the upkeeping of tradition. oh well. never mind.

Sounds like this "unspoken law" is something solely within your mind.

Like, you are so like, moral, like....

huh?

10 charrrr

Well if it's NOT legal, you have to be careful. There could be an admissions officer reading this. Don't want to mess anything up.

lol u guys are really smart... or just really desperate

anyone applied to NYU?

just think of the netID fiasco

NYU reps actually appeared on the chastising us for what we did- saying that there might be repercussions, but they won't take any immediate action

Haha, it would be so hilarious if Columbia called FedEx and got a list of everyone that called, then turned their acceptances into rejections. I think it's a terrible idea... I'd want to found out how I'm supposed to. Ingenious though, whoever came up with it.

i know...i'm still tempted because i haven't seen any fedex trucks around...are they all coming today? i'm so nervous. oh well, only a little over an hour until 5...i'll wait.

Nothing from FedEx yet. If most NJ folks have already heard, then I guess it's another big R or WL.

I got in! According to FedEx, at least, scheduled for delivery tomorrow afternoon.

Then again, I did get a likely letter from SEAS.
