University of Dayton would be a good match if you want to look a little outside the northeast.

Look at Wheaton College (MA), need more males, Division III Athletics, no business though, it is an LAC.

Slumon are you a recruiter lol O_o

No, I am not a recruiter, but maybe I should be! Just a parent!

Kids often don’t know as much as they think they do about this subject. A private college can run $50K - $60K per year for everything. Talk to your parents and see if they agree with you. If so, congratulations! If not, you can find out what they WILL be expected to pay with the fafsa 4caster.

Good luck!

geek mom i have talked with them and im very greatful that they would be able to finance my college education with out problems. Also I was wondering were exactly Dayton is if anyone could help me because obviously if its the right school for me i would be willing to leave the northest. Thank you all for your help

[dayton oh - Google Maps](http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=dayton+oh&aq=&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=40.27343,107.138672&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Dayton,+Montgomery,+Ohio&z=12)

oh okay wow i was thinking it was in a completly diffrent area lol thanks

Check out University of Scranton.

i have and i visited the campus and drive past it all the time. From what i here its a good school but I’m just not a fan of the area or the campus.

Start an Excel Spreadsheet for then you can add and delete schools that you may apply to. My 4 kids did this (well OK, I did it for them!) But it does help!

Columns were headed with number of undergrads, % male, female, Application deadline, Notification date, housing available all 4 years? % of need met, SAT Scores, etc. Whatever you think is important to you! You would be surprised how many times you can add a school, then visit and change your mind!

There are tons of schools you can get into in the northeast. Could you be more specific about what you’re looking for in a school so we can give you better suggestions?

Some things to consider:
Do you prefer urban or rural settings?
Do you prefer small, intimate classes or large lectures?
What kind of atmosphere on campus are you looking for? Lively? Quiet? Studious? Party-heavy? Etc.
Do politics or diversity come into play? I.e. Some students are only comfortable in a primarily liberal or conservative environment, or some students place importance on schools that are LGBT-friendly or racially diverse.

What about Ursinus? It’s one of the “colleges that change lives”. I know someone going there for pre-law next year and he did his research. It also has business.

Slumom thanks thats a very creative idea lol im gunna try that with out a doubt wow great idea

eiffel

  • i prefer mostly suburban campus’s but depending on the city i would go to a urban campus in a heartbeat
-size doesnt matter with classes beacause in high school ive attened both a extremely large school and then moved to a extremly small school
-regarding the campus i deffinatly want one that is lively and has alot of activities(sports, concerts and just an active student body)
-with the last question niether of them come into play

thank you both for ur time it means alot

ricegal what was his/her gpa like?

Are you interested in playing Division III baseball or football?

Uhm I would but I’m not willing to give up going to a good school just to play baseball and/or football… I have received letters requesting video from numerous schools for football ( mostly d2 or 3 with an exception of Harvard) and the same for baseball.
