<p>Ask for <em>unpaid</em> internships. Because it’s low-cost labor (almost free for them), they’ll be much more willing to accept someone with no experience.</p>
<p>You should check job postings, you should ask family connections, AND you should cold-email asking for internships.</p>
<p>I know a friend who got advertising-related internships by walking into offices and talking to the receptionist… it helps that he’s quite affable.</p>
