Hey, for those of you who contacted your alumni interviewer, how did you find their contact info?

The alumni interviewer contacts the student after being asked to contact the student by either the adcoms or by the head of their local schools committee.

If I haven't been contacted for an interview, should I just wait, or should I call the admissions office? I feel rather bad just sitting here doing nothing at this point, especially since Harvard seems to weigh the interview quite heavily.

I don't know if the interview is weighed that heavily, but I think it would hurt you a lot if you don't do it. Anyway, call the Harvard Admissions Office for information!

I called the regional interviewing committee and they said they guy was swamped... I really want the interview already

I don't suggest hounding the regional interviewing committee nor do I suggest contacting your Harvard adcom. All that will do is irritate them. Believe me, they do know you are on the list.

Meanwhile, if you end up going to Harvard, I hope that after you graduate, you'll find the time to be an alumni interviewer. The more interviewers, the shorter the wait for applicants to be interviewed and the greater the chances that all applicants will be interviewed.
