Hi, I may need apartment from summer since on-campus housing only have hall and suites( suites expensive?) for summer.

I want the apartment very near to school (walking distance so don't need a car to drive), and buy meal plan at school ( I don't cook). Is this more expensive than living on campus?( I receive Financial aid).

Which apartments will you guys recommend? Do the apartment let you use AC in hot summer? Do they provide filtered drinking water?

How I can find them? Is it possible I have my own room?

Living on campus during the summer is way too expensive IMO. You can easily find someone subletting their apartment for the summer through Facebook marketplace or craigslist for anywhere between $500-$700 a month. As for the food, non-resident meal plans can get pretty pricey. You can find more info on that here:

If you want to save money, try surviving off of microwaveable food and sandwiches or something and slowly learn to cook as you go along. That’s what I did!
