<p>I have been trying to Google this topic, but am unable to find the info for my daughter's school. I looked at their engineering dept. website and the admissions website. I don't know if I'm just not looking in the right place or perhaps this is info that is not available?</p>
<p>You will probably not be able to find the stats for your daughters school specifically. However, it is fairly easy to find national data, or data at some other schools. In general, GPA’s for engineering students will be considerably lower at most schools. You can’t quote me on this, but I believe the actual difference nationally is around .4 lower than overall university averages. I know that Berkeley has their stats available, and theirs is in the .5 range. Nationally, it will be slightly less, but if your daughter goes to a school known for engineering, there will most likely be a large difference.</p>
