Finding Focus in ECs

Could any of you please help me find some focus on my ECs? I am a very strong leader, and I am just a vulture for opportunities, but I am having trouble finding passion and focus. I am interested in going into medicine.

Please note that these are estimates.

Extracurriculars:
- 4 years - Amnesty International Club - Became president in Sophomore year

3 Years - Stock Market Club Founder/President

4 years - A small club that fundraises, volunteers and helps the local underprivilaged community - Became president in Sophomore year

4 years - A club that takes care of (plans, carries out) major events in the school - Became president in Sophomore year - Membership is hard, and is through a selection process by the guidance councillor in charge of the club.

Student Council:

Clubs Manager for Student council

School President in Junior/Senior Year

Volunteer Work:
- >1000 hours
4 Years - Volunteer in Hospital - Took leadership position
4 Years - School library volunteer - I started this believe it or not in first year simply to get to know and interact with people at school, but I got hooked.
4 years - Volunteer at a temple
4 years - Volunteer in a local elderly citizen's home, doing duties she cannot do herself
4 years - Volunteer Accountant/Office Worker at the head Food Bank in the province (Not everyone gets to do this. This is behind closed doors. The usual duties of a volunteer are food sorting)
4 Years - Volunteer with students with learning disabilities

Freshman Year - Project Manager for a Leadership Tracking Sysem that allows students to track their school/community involvement. School has wanted it for the longest time, but no one took the initiative. Helps the school greatly, and is used by all students in the school.

Worked behind the doors of student council, because the entire system of corrupt and nothing was getting done. Turned student council around when elected and got it back on track (something that has not happened in awhile). Was corrupt for the longest time.

I hope you are not serious about this... asking a bunch of strangers on the internet about the focus of your life????

I think its important to show a general image... for you, leadership and commitment to volunteering.

Just curious, what do you mean by corruption in the school council? The worst our school council can do is sell us cupcakes at snack(against state laws), because everyone knows that the student body leaders are just puppets propped up by the school to give some semblance of democracy.

I am not trying to find the focus of my life online. I know what it is. I want to try and work my ECs into something with a little more focus.

As for Student Council, what about not doing anything, doing more damage than good, having *** in the Student Council office, violence, guns, you name it.

I'd really appreciate it if more people could reply. I could use all the help I can get. Thank you all!

I'm not sure what you mean by 'finding focus'. I too have similar ECs just less volunteer hours -_-. But anyways, what I got from asking around was that when it comes to writing down your list of activities and talking about them, mention them as "One Big Thing". Perhaps all of your ECs are all somehow linked to making your environment a better place and you would just have to talk about how you stepped up and took over the 'corrupt' stuco and such.
