Finding Lab Research Programs?

<p>I'm currently a rising sophomore, and I was just wondering how to find lab research programs and what they entail. All the ones I've found seem to be prestigious and highly selective. Also, I don't have much of an idea about what I would want to research and don't have lab experience outside of high school science.</p>

<p>Penn has a biomedical research program that is classroom/lab work and teaches you how to do research. I think they also have other ones as well, like physic and chemistry.</p>
