Is anyone else here who sent the postcard back with a YES to attend the summer humanities & social science program excited about finding out if we'll actually get to go?

Apparently, they have a lottery (because double want to go usually then they can accomodate) in the first week of May, which is very soon!

I really think it would be an awesome opportunity and I hope, hope that they'll draw my name! Anyone else with me?

I sent mine right away too... but as far as I can tell... it doesn't matter when it was sent... If you say you want to go...then your name gets put in the hat with everyone else's... I want to g SOOOOOOO badly though... man!! I am also very anxious about when we hear back from them... I'm assuming it will be within the next few weeks... we'll see!

Yea, I got it too and gave the card to the lady (Gail newman) while at the Williams Preview. Hopefully I get in also. It would so much fun to meet everyone and I hear we stay in some of the really really nice apartments.

Yeah.. I emailed Gail Newman... and she said I didn't get picked out of the lottery... I'm bummed. But my awesome friend Kenny from Vancouver got in!!

I didn't get picked either. Got an email today that said I didn't have any luck with the lottery. Oh well, ... I wonder how many people applied to this program? Anyways, I'll be able to have a good time this summer at home with friends.

I was called about a week ago by Prof. Gail Newman. She informed me that I was chosen to attend the SHSS ... and I'm SOOO stoked!

I attended the Multicultural Previews. And I'm also really anxious to see who else got in. But what I really am curious about is what the real significance of SHSS is? I mean, the fact that I'm stoked means that I know it's definitely a positive experience ... but how am I to expect SHSS to benefit me really?

I LOVED Williams as soon as I visited. I hope to see others from Multicultural Previews there!
