The Williams website says that E.D. applicants will be notified by December 15th, however, if they mail the decisions on the 14th, I won't get my decision until after the 15th.

It would be a great help and potentially save me $120 in application fees if I knew by the 15th as promised by the website. This is because two of my potential regular decision schools have deadlines for regular decision on the 15th. I've already completed those applications but I'm holding off on sending them until I recieve my decision or I run out of time, whichever comes first.

My question is, if I don't get a letter on the 14th, can I call or e-mail and find out what my decision was so I could make my next move from there?

They aren't going to tell you over the phone/email. You will probably receive the letter on the 15th, but if not you'll have to absorb the $120 in fees...

I'm in the same boat, except I have an ED II deadline on the 15th...is it possible that a coach with whom I have been in contact will be able to let me know? Thanks for the help...

i'm also in the same boat but luckily, that college waives the application fee for the int'ls. :D so i will just submit my application online, if the things turn out to be disappointing. :( by the way, i learnt that they would be e-mailing decisions either on dec 15th or 16th for the int'ls.

Williams says the applicant will be notified by Dec. 15th on the website. They probably picked this date because other colleges have regular decision or early decision II applications due on this day.

If we don't get the letter on the 14th there is really no other way to find out?
