Finishing a Pre-Req in Spring

I am majoring in Sociology and I am taking one of the pre-req's for it this coming spring. Will I be penilized for not having it completed by Fall or will it work out fine? Thanks.

No, you will not be penalized. Make sure you finish it by Summer.

K, great, thanks so much! It wasn’t offered in other semester that I saw, Finite Mathematics, so finally I can take it this Spring.

No problem - glad I could help.

it shouldnt really hurt… it may for some majors like poli sci and bizecon

That’s not true, either. Maybe if you were taking a good chunk of your prereqs it may hurt, but otherwise, no, you won’t be penalized for taking a prereq in your last spring semester regardless of the major.

some majors and some school only allow at most 2 major preparation to be taken during last semester .

yea i forgot to mention that

It’s only the 1 that I have left so I think it should be fine.

do you know which majors and which schools will allow you to take some prereqs during the summer? cus i have 2 prereqs in math( math 1d and 2a) that i need to finish (applying for ucsd)
