I've been taking the Barrons practice tests and I haven't been close to finishing a single one. I know that they're supposed to be harder than the real thing, but the thing is that I'm worried I will still only complete a certain number of problems which will prevent me from getting a higher score. Right now I'm scoring a 680, usually only getting to see 45 or so problems (while skipping at least five along the way). Do you think I'll go through the official one quicker if it isn't as hard?

^ Definitely. If you solve the easier ones first, you have more time to deal with the harder ones. With a decreased level of difficulty, you will absolutely have more time to finsih up the test. Use the BB test to guage your timing difficulties before you take the real Math II test.

Oh, man, definitely. I never could finish a single barron’s exam, got about high 600s/low 700s, but I finished the Oct Math Level 2 with time to spare and with an 800.

You could try a risky strategy of only solving 44 questions that you are sure of, and skipping 6 and still get a 800. It paid off for me, but I got lucky as there was exactly 44 that I was certain I got right and 6 that I couldn’t solve.

It’s risky, too, because what if the curve’s 45/50 for an 800?

True. You should only attempt it if you’re running out of time, like me :P
