Hey all, I've sent in my UC application like everyone else and am not too worried, but there is still some lingering paranoia.

I'm applying to UCSD as a biological anthropology major. I meet the anthropology pre-reqs for this, including other anthropology majors, but assist.org also has two biology courses listed for this concentration. I would be finished with both of them by Summer 2009, and I've applied for Fall 2009.

Do you think it is crucial to have the biology courses finished prior to transfer, since it is actually a biology prerequisite? I will be taking BIOL 210A next spring, and plan on taking 210B over the summer. Would not having both courses finished sooner hurt my admission chances? I was hoping by January I would be able to add it to my academic history.

ACCORDING TO ASSIST.ORG:

Prerequisite for several upper-division Bio-Anthro electives:
BILD 1 The Cell
BILD 3 Organismic and Evolutionary Biology

My CC-equivalent courses:
BIOL 210A Introduction to the Biological Sciences I
BIOL 210B Introduction to the Biological Sciences II

"NOTE: BILD 1 + 3 are not directly related to Anthropology; they are Biology's prerequisites for some upper division Biology courses that can be applied to BioAnthro."
