I am gonna be a business major at uiuc for fall 2012. I have to take Calculus 1/Calc for business along with either Linear Algebra or Finite Math. Which one do you think is easier cause I have no idea what finite math or linear algebra is.</p>
<p>When you meet with an advisor, they will probably tell you not to take both the first semester. You will probably take Business Calc I (a joke) and then the 2nd semester you can choose between linear algebra or finite math.</p>
<p>Yeah I know but I wanted to take finite or linear algebra in the 1st semester cause I thought it would be easier than calculus. I wanna try and avoid taking hard classes in the 1st semester itself.I’ll probably need some time to adjust since I am an international student and America and the american style of education is very different from what I am used to.
so which one do u recommend taking,Finite or Linear algebra?</p>
<p>I have not taken finite or linear algebra, but really Business Calculus I is not going to be tough.</p>
