First Acceptance!

Yeah, my friend is a beast in terms of her college applications. She finished her Purdue application in late August, submitted it on the first day that it could be submitted, and was accepted a few days ago. I doubt she will be going, though, since it's her super safety.

Sunshine--I'm so jealous!

Congrats everyone!!

PSU is rollings but they dont notify until Jan.

Duquesne with 13.5k/year scholarship...

My choices are safeties, but it still feels so good.
University of Central Florida
University of South Florida
Now waiting on Florida State University...

My son has received acceptances from Purdue, University of Arizona, and Northern Arizona University. He should be hearing from Michigan State very soon. He applied to all these 'rolling admissions' schools in September. Last weekend he sent off early action applications (with a 11/1 deadline) to University of Denver, and University of Vermont.

i got into Bloomfield college and Cabrini College w/ scholarships. I'm happy although they were my safety as well!!!!!

University of Portland....

my son got into Rose-hulman a couple weeks ago!
and Purdue but he is going to Rose

Congrats.

I should have started applying to my safeties.

Hey i got an ELC number does that mean anything??? do i have any guarantees???

Jinks:

"Which UC campuses guarantee admission to ELC students?

For fall 2008, UC Davis, UC Irvine (except Dance and Music majors
and applicants to the schools of Engineering and Information and
Computer Science), UC Merced, UC Riverside and UC Santa Barbara will
guarantee admission to ELC students provided applicants satisfactorily
complete their remaining high school requirements. For a description of
ELC evaluation criteria and guarantees for each UC campus, see UC Campus
Policies and Procedures for Evaluating Freshman Applicants."

hey lauralice i have the below 4% above 12% ELC number does it still apply.

are those the schools for last year or this year

hey lauralice i have the below 4% above 12% ELC number does it still apply.

i think it is only a garuntee if its above 4%, but it helps to have your number too.
