So how long does it take to transition to a Macbook Pro from a Dell?

haha, i want to know this too

I had a Compaq. Just two days or so. Pretty easy if you ask me. =]

yea, pretty easy for me too.

It might be a bit tricky at first especially if you’ve never used one before but after a few days you should have it down.

Very easy. If my mum can get the hang of my old iBook very quickly anyone can.

I just went through this starting on July 9th. I was anonymously gifted a Macbook!!! l:D

Anyway, I had never touched a mac before, ever. It was confusing as heck at first, ESPECIALLY installing programs…but you get used to it :)

How do you uninstall programs from a Mac, btw? A friend of mine with a Macbook Pro just asked me about that yesterday, and I was like, “Go to the Control Panel…” And she just stared and said, “Wait, you mean the Finder?”

So, yeah…I’m not really knowledgeable about Macs, and way too lazy to go through their help documents.

Mac updates will definitally be in September so I think I’m gonna stop waiting and get the student deal.

Olgita, just open the Applications folder and drag the program icon into the Trash Can.

What if you’re deleting a game? When you drag the icon into the trash can, will all the save games, etc. go with it?

I don’t think so, but I’m not sure. Check by going to your username (the name that appears next to the house in Finder)>Library>Application Support>and open the folder of the game you’re deleting.
