First C ever, first semester senior year

So as first semester comes to an end for Senior year, I am about to receive my first C ever in a class, (if it is in any consolation, it’s an IB class). The rest of my classes have remained about the same, 2 B’s, 5 A’s. and this one C. How negative is it that my first C ever is coming at this point of my high school career.

UC’s do not consider Senior grades in their admission decisions unless they ask for a supplemental review. All acceptances are provisional so for UCLA/UCB you need to maintain a 3.0 uW GPA with no more than 2 C’s Senior year. The rest of the UC’s require a 3.0 weighted GPA. Of course no D’s or F’s.

IB courses will do that! Hard not to stress out, but don’t. I’d love to know which IB course if you don’t mind sharing.

Theory of knowledge :frowning:

Thank you so much @Gumbymom I’ve been restless about it.

Yes, do not worry or stress out about it unless the UC requests for supplemental information around January or early February 2020.
