<p>I recently got one c in a 3 hour course, and it was my first semester in college. the course doesn't pertain to my major(bio) or requirements for med school; it was a liberal arts course required for my liberal arts university. How does that factor into my chances in getting into med school?</p>

there are students who have D and F in their transcript retook it again ace it and got into medical school
Also u don’t have to worry that much because that class it is not from ur major ur fine 
just try not to do take anymore c’s anyways even if u do big deal if u don’t like it take higher classes or retake it… remember there are always solutions

<p>You’ll be fine, just don’t do it again. I got a C in orgo 1 my freshman spring and still ended up at a top 20 MD/PhD program.</p>
