I know I shouldn't be posting in the HS section, so shoot me, but my first car was a 1963 Chevrolet Corvair, the subject of Ralph Nader's book "Unsafe at any speed". It had a two speed automatic transmission and topped out at about 60 mph on the freeway. Total POS.

My first car is gonna be a 2000 Corolla. My dream car (that I can one day buy) is some type of BMW.

I want either a 2008 Honda Accord or a 2009 Nissan Maxima. Of course, by the time I even consider buying a car, the prices will go down.

My first (and only) car is a '91 chevy corsica. It has a rather large dent in the front (NOT my fault; the car was my dad's before it was mine), but it drives like a charm! And has the cushiest seats ever. Although the signals do tend to mess up once in a while. The license plate is hanging on by a thread of wire. The bottom of my car is damaged (err...due to the fact that I might have run over a show shovel in the middle of the highway). Sadly I won't be taking it along with me to college; no parking for freshmen. Plus, I'm sure it'd combust making the journey from Alaska to Michigan

My first car will be a 1993 Camry SE 5 Speed Manual... in about two months.

It's kind of crappy but I can't complain.

I got a 2001 Subaru Forester when I was 16...it's a really nice car for where I live, lots of room for skis and bikes and such, good for driving on icy roads in the winter (and summer, at this point - absolutely ridiculous, it snowed here all day yesterday)

You lucky kids (or, whatever)! My poor daughters are off to distant colleges without cars. When they're home, they are forced to share (with me) a rickety old '98 Forester with 150,000 miles on it. They are quite unhappy about this state of affairs, but, oh well. Once upon a time we did have a third car, which they shared with undue bickering through high school. One of the girls totaled it last year and the accident was entirely her fault. Insurance went up and no new car was acquired. ... I want to make sure they don't see this thread! Drive carefully, y'all.

2000 Ford Taurus. Not exactly glamorous, but it runs. It's probably a good thing it isn't that fancy, because I've put a few dents in it. :)

I'm about to get my first car. I want it to be an Accord or Camry. Decent gas mileage, large enough, safe, and can fit people and things well enough.

I have a green ford explorer

I've seen too many Ford Explorers flip over outside this Wal-Mart parking lot.

thats kind of a weird coincidence.

Acura TL 2003

vw rabbit (2007)

I've had it for a little over a year. I'm not bringing it to college next year only because freshmen can't. It's my baby, and I love german cars to death.
Side note- a good chunk of my friends drive hatchbacks like me; honda fit, scion xd, etc.

I really want a BMW X5, We got a car in the middle of the year, a really nice one in fact, but I'm hearing that my mom plans to give it to my older brother that will be a sophomore in college. I know it makes complete sense since he's by himself, but next year is my senior year, and a car would be beneficial to help me get around for the various activities(school, clubs, etc) that I'll be involved in.

i just wish i had a car. I really like the cr-v tho... never will get that... a like '98 oldsmobile is prolly closer to what my parents would consider. Yuck.

holy crap if you got that i would be SOOO jealous =P

i drive a white CRV that my mom gave me. (im a guy, so its quite an interesting match........)

i highly encourage a car you know with good gas mileage. for this reason, i want a civic EX for its 35-40 mpg...

whats your budget?

1991 nissan stanza. manual baby, and that's all that matters.

i have a red convertible

buuuumppppppp
